The World Bank offers the Global Issues Seminar Series (GISS) to promote better understanding of global issues and to generate debate among senior undergraduate and graduate students of social sciences, international development, public policy and business.The Series is directed by Maya Brahmam and coordinated by Melissa Nitsch.

This fall, students will be connecting by videoconference from universities in Europe, South America, the Middle East and Africa. Students from universities located in the Washington, DC area might participate in the live sessions by coming to the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
