The Executive Directors' twelve-month work program is submitted to the Board for approval at the beginning of each fiscal year.
The Board Work Program is prepared by the Corporate Secretariat in consultation with Management and the Steering Committee.
All items in the Executive Directors' Work Program are tentative and subject to change.
The Board Work Program is presented as:
A thematic matrix of major Board events, aligned with the priorities outlined in the Bank’s strategy.
A chronological listing of Board documents
The annual work programs of the Board’s standing committees
Tentative Country Assistance Strategy (CAS), Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP) and Highly-Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) pipelines
The tentative schedule of Board events, including a three-month rolling calendar, is also reviewed each month by the Steering Committee.
