Der deutsche Exekutivdirektor vertritt Deutschland in den Exekutivdirektorien der Weltbank. Diese überwachen und steuern die Geschäfts­tätigkeiten der Bankengruppe. Deutschland ist nach den USA und Japan drittgrösster Anteilseigner.
Das deutsche Büro unterstützt den Exekutivdirektor bei seiner Arbeit. Es ist zugleich Anlaufstelle und vermittelt im Bedarfsfall Kontakte. Die Zuständigkeiten und Kontaktdaten der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter finden Sie hier.
Jedes Jahr im Herbst veröffentlicht das deutsche Büro einen Jahresbericht mit einem Überblick über die Weltbankgruppe, ihre Geschäftstätigkeit und aus deutscher Sicht hervorgehobene Aspekte.

 

The German Executive Director represents Germany in the Executive Boards of the World Bank. They oversee and govern the business of the World Bank Group. Germany is the third largest shareholder following the United States and Japan.

The German Office supports the Executive Director with his tasks. It is also a contact point. The responsibilities of its staff and contact information can be found here.

Every year in the fall, the German Office publishes an Annual Report with an overview of the World Bank Group, its business activities, and aspects of particular interest for Germany.
