The Office of the Executive Director for Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines is one on twenty five Chairs on the World Bank Group Board of Directors. The office is responsible for facilitating the functions of the Executive Director which includes representing constituency countries considering and deciding on IBRD loan and guarantees proposals and IDA credit, grant and guarantee proposals made by the President, and it decides on policies that guide the Bank's general operations.
In addition the advisors represent constituency interests on several committees including Audit Committee and Budget Committee.
Currently the Executive Director sits on the Committee On Development Effectiveness (CODE) &Â Committee On Governance and Executive Directors' Administrative Matters (COGAM)
