Welcome to the website of the Office of the Executive Director Bahrain, Arab Republic of Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Maldives, Oman, Qatar, Syrian Arab Republic, United Arab Emirates, and Republic of Yemen.  The staff represent these countries on the Budget Committee. They also spend a large part of their day working with the other 173 member countries to harmonize their positions so as to present a consensus on development efforts.

This site provides an overview of the activities of Bahrain, Arab Republic of Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Maldives, Oman, Qatar, Syrian Arab Republic, United Arab Emirates, and Republic of Yemen in the World Bank and is intended to keep you updated as much as possible on the contributions and initiatives of these countries within the Bank Group.
