The HMN is a partnership of developing countries, bilateral donors, and international agencies that aims to improve health statistics in low- and middle-income countries. The partnership brings together health and statistical constituencies, in order to improve the capacity of countries to collect, analyze, and use reliable health data, leading to improved decision making in health. HMN provides technical support to countries by providing guidance on standards and assistance for data collection and analysis, and catalytic financial support for countries to apply the HMN technical framework and identify investment needs for strengthening health statistics. HMN has a secretariat located at WHO in Geneva. The HDNHE Director is on the HMN Board.
