Ethics Training Program

EBC conducts Ethics and Integrity briefings and workshops which cover staff members' ethical obligations, the Bank Group's ethical framework, its core values and guiding principles, and the importance of maintaining high ethical standards as a model to our clients.  Live training is highly interactive and uses case studies, guided discussions, and small group work so that staff can quickly understand better ways of handling ethically challenging situations they may face.

In addition EBC has, on request, trained selected regional and functional groups, such as all staff in the South Asia region, Treasury staff, IT Staff for the ECA/MNA regions, selected Resource Management staff, new Country Managers and Directors, and staff in the Carbon Finance unit.

EBC has developed a new training program for staff called Living Our Values around an updated Code of Professional Ethics, soon to be completed.
