Domestic Issues

In domestic issues, the role of the Office of Ethics and Business Conduct is to ensure that Bank Group staff members comply with their legal and financial obligations, including:

• Complying with court orders regarding spousal and child support; 
• Following employment laws when employing G5 visa holders. 

In addition, in the case of domestic abuse, the World Bank Group will not allow abusers to hide behind the organization's privileges and immunities.
