Over the past few years, several members of the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank (PNoWB) have shown a keen interest in how the Chad-Cameroon Pipeline Project (CCPP) is progressing. In parallel, international civil society groups such as Environmental Defense and Bank Information Center have been lobbying members of PNoWB’s board to keep a close eye on how the Bank is managing its involvement of the project. On September 25, PNoWB held a videoconference with the World Bank to learn where the project currently stands.
