The ABCDE 2005 conference was organised by the World Bank and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister for Development Cooperation and the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands. It was held on 23-24 May 2005, in Amsterdam. Nearly 600 participants from approximately 90 countries attended the conference, representing states, international organizations, academic institutions, the civil society and the private sector.
