The East Asia and Pacific Impact Evaluation Initiative of DIME (EAPIE) is a program of the World Bank that:
- Supports and coordinates rigorous impact evaluations of World Bank projects and country programs in the East Asia and Pacific Region.
- Provides technical assistance to task teams and government agencies to design and implement impact evaluations through the entire project cycle.
Supports capacity building for implementing agencies and policy makers for results-based policy making.
- Fosters impact evaluation partnerships between governments, researchers, academics and policy institutes, and civil society
There are currently 38 completed impact evaluations of in the region and 17 ongoing. The impact evaluations are focused on Rural Infrastructure, Early Childhood Development, Education, Health and Local Development. There are 6 impact evaluations in Indonesia and 3 in Cambodia; the rest are distributed among China, Lao, Philippines, Vanuatu and Vietnam.
