Fang Xu, from People’s Republic of China, holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Fudan University, China and a Masters of Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Before joining the World Bank as a Young Professional, she has been working in Chinese Central Government and Shanghai Municipal Government, engaging in wage reform, city management and rural-urban integration. Her new assignment in the World Bank is infrastructure, and her interests are infrastructure, urban development and macro-economic policy.
