Secondment Program

The Secondment Program is an alternative in cases where a partnership or an assignment does not fully meet the   Staff Exchange Program requirements. Secondments are typically a shorter assignment or assignments that are of interest to the participating unit but which might not fully meet the overall corporate objectives of the World Bank.

Contrary to the Staff Exchange Program, Secondment appointments may lead to a more permanent employment opportunity at the World Bank Group, subject to the written authorization of the sending organization.
