Saudi Recruitment Program

Targeting Saudi nationals, allows participants to gain valuable insights, exposure and experience from the Bank’s internal perspective.

The Saudi Recruitment Program (KSARP) is a partially funded program that provides professionals from Saudi Arabia to gain experience in an international organization. The main objective of the program is to contribute to the achievement of the bank's diversity targets and capacity building efforts through recruitment of high level professional Saudis, both in Headquarters and Country Offices.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Masters degree or equivalent, with minimum of 2 years experience in a subject area relevant to the work of the World Bank Group including economics, finance, environment, health, education, urban planning, information, technology, human resources;
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment;
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of development issues is an advantage
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, other World Bank Group languages is an advantage (French, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian)
  • Computer skills

Shared at 50% each by the Saudi Government and the World Bank hiring unit.

How to apply

Terms of References will be submitted by World Bank hiring units and selected by Saudi officials in early March of each year. Interested participants should forward their CVs and/or applications. A shortlist of candidates will be provided by the Saudi government to the World Bank hiring units for consideration. The final selection will be made by the World Bank hiring unit.

Terms and Conditions

The Saudi Government may express sector preference as part of their development strategy. (In case of dual nationalities, applicants must report all nationalities at application stage.)

Initial appointments are One-Year Term appointments. Apart from the source of funding and the nationality tie, KSARP participants will be governed by the same HR rules and policies as for any other Bank staff.

Positions may be graded at professional technical grade levels or ungraded. Salaries are based on grade level at recruitment. Positions are subject to international recruitment.
