RP is in a better position to weather the global slowdown — Policy reforms in the past have put the Philippines in a better position to weather the uncertainties brought about by the global financial crisis and higher food and fuel prices, and with appropriate policies going forward, short-term growth prospects can be improved, says the Philippines Quarterly Update, released by the World Bank. The report nonetheless expects the Philippine economy to slow down, in line with global trends.

Country Environmental Analysis (CEA) Workshop
