WASHINGTON, November 3, 2009 - The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project:  Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan: Tien Shan Ecosystem Development Project  GEF Trust Fund Grant: US$3.35 million Project ID: P104670  Project Description: The Tien Shan Ecosystem Development Project for the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan aims to contribute to improving ecosystem management and sustainable forestry in the project areas of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
