(R) International Assessment of Agricultural Science and Technology for Development: The objective of the project is to improve access to knowledge, science and technology that will promote and facilitate sustainable agricultural practices proven to improve nutritional security and enhance rural livelihoods while reversing environmental degradation, redressing social and gender inequity and ensuring human health and well-being. Approved by the Executive Directors on 29 March 2006. The grant was signed on 30 March 2006. Environmental Assessment Category C. PID: 90963. US$ 3.0 (GEF). Co-sponsors include FAO, WHO, United Nations Environment Program, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and UNDP. Consultants will be required.
