The evaluation was launched in August 2007 and will take place over 15 months in two phases.
During the first phase, key desk reviews will be completed, including reviews of lending and analytic work, analysis of the intersectoral use of the CAS for HNP outcomes, literature reviews, and background papers. The findings from these intermediate products will be disseminated via seminars and background papers as they are finalized.
The second phase will address the issues raised by the first phase studies by conducting in-depth field work, in the form of country case studies and enhanced PPARs. These products will also be disseminated, following reviews by IEG, operational teams, and governments.
The target date for submitting the consolidated final evaluation report to the Bank's Committee on Development Effectiveness is fall 2008. |
