Discount Prescription Card
Although it is tied to Medicare, purchase of a Discount Prescription Card is NOT required under the Bank's Retiree Medical Insurance Plan (RMIP) and if retirees do purchase this type of card, the benefits CANNOT be coordinated against the RMIP.

Medicare Drug Benefits Legislation
The Medicare Drug Benefits Legislation has recently been signed into law. The 1818 Society, in close oordination with the World Bank Benefits Administration, will study very carefully the possible effects of and remedies to the new Law and regulations with respect to our Retiree Medical Insurance Plan (RMIP).
