Discounts for travel to New York

The American Express representative at the Bank has informed us of specific discounts for retired Bank staff who are traveling to NYC or Boston on Amtrak’s Acela. 

Although Amtrak does not offer a senior fare on Acela (as it does on its regional train service), it will give Bank retirees a 25% discount on Acela Express Business Class fares to New York and Boston.

Those who want to use the Bank fares must purchase them through the American Express leisure office in the Bank.  The Amex leisure office services walk-in clients only.  Go to the World Bank Customer Service Center at MC-C2  - Main Complex, down to C2 and across the pond.
