The American Express representative at the Bank has informed us of specific discounts for retired Bank staff who are traveling to NY.
The current one way fares for the Acela and Metroliner trains are $122 (Bank), vs. $114 for seniors and $135 regular.
The current one way USAIR shuttle fares are $108 (Bank), vs. $125 for seniors and $288 regular. There is an all day Saturday and Sunday before noon fare of $140 that anyone may purchase in advance or on a walk-up basis.
Those who want to use the Bank fares must purchase them through the American Express office in the Bank. Paper tickets are required for special train fares, and these can only be picked up at the office. Electronic tickets for the shuttle are possible. Write to David O.
