Since 1972, various activities have been organized for children and youth based on the needs of World Bank families such as: playgroups, ice-skating parties, nature walks, art competitions, international entertainment, rap sessions and dances. The December holiday party is always a main event. The purpose of these events has always been to give a sense of belonging and support to family members. “It takes a village to raise a child”, and we try to provide some of the care a community provides. We are always looking to see new faces at our events, and we are always very happy to see new volunteers. Any ideas or initiatives for children’s activities will be greatly appreciated.
