The whole family, or the staff member alone, is moving to a country office. The WBFN Members Abroad Team is your contact between headquarters and your country office. We work to establish a solid network of WBG families on the move and to be the link between services at headquarters and the resident families. Feel free to contact us whenever you need a friendly ear, and put to use our long-time experience in addressing challenges faced by WBG families on the move. We strongly encourage all departing families to contact us prior to your "Look-See" trip so that we can provide you with the names and addresses of WBG families in the duty country.

Note that the World Bank HR external website also carries some information specifically for families stationed at country offices. This includes services and resources offered by the Global Mobility unit, who help staff and families through their relocation and settling into their new environment.
