Computer Courses
Computer ClassesWBFN has organized computer classes for its members for over 12 years. More than 2,000 have attended. WBFN subsidizes these classes as we recognize how essential computer and Internet skills are to members in cultural transition after a move. Courses range from the most basic, which help families to communicate around the world, to more advanced levels for job-seekers looking to enhance or polish their skills for the workplace. All classes are taught by experienced teachers, who are accustomed to teaching in an international classroom environment.

World Bank Group and IMF spouses/partners, family members, and retirees can apply for the courses.

With the exception of some of the English classes, which are fee-based, WBFN members volunteer their time to teach and coordinate these language classes and they are offered free of charge to the participants. From time to time, new classes are added and new conversation groups are formed. These classes and groups are announced in Mosaic and on this website.
