| The World Bank Family Network (WBFN) works to inform members of issues and programs of the Bank that are relevant to families. We also work to recognize the achievements and contributions of our member volunteers. Through articles in the monthly Mosaic newsletter, on the WBFN Website, and through our @-a-glance e-announcements, WBFN provides members with news of our organization, programs, and activities. | Mosaic

Located at www.wbfn.org, our Website is an interactive communication vehicle, enhanced to connect worldwide WBFN members instantaneously. The WBFN Website includes the websites of our two outreach programs: the WBFN Book Project and the Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund (MMMF). WBFN uses its website to help members see how the different parts of the WBFN and different pieces of information inter-relate to support Bank spouses and families. We hope all members will participate in strengthening this powerful communication vehicle by visiting the website, using it as often as needed, and letting us know if you see ways for us to improve it. | | Back to top | | Brochures

In an effort to package take-away information, WBFN has created a series of brochures describing WBFN activities of interest in particular. They are designed to introduce key projects and activities of the WBFN and its outreach programs.
Brochures include: WBFN Welcoming brochure, the WBFN Book Project, and World Bank Group Teenagers.
The brochures are designed and produced by WBFN members who volunteer their skills. WBFN members involved in the activities provide the content. | | Back to top | | Flyers and Posters

Numerous flyers and posters are designed each year to announce and advertise WBFN programs, including informational meetings, seminars, workshops, and gallery openings. These are distributed throughout the Bank. Posters for large annual events such as the Bank/Fund Joint Family Picnic, the Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund International Arts and Crafts Fair, the Children's Holiday Party, and the Children's Art Competition are displayed throughout the Bank buildings and in entryways.
WBFN thanks the WBFN members who are graphic artists and who volunteer their time and skills to design these flyers and posters. | | Back to top | | WBFN Reference Publications These publications contain tested knowledge and information especially helpful to Bank spouses. The WBFN Annual Report serves as a good reference for those who wish to know in detail about the World Bank Family Network: its purpose, people, activities, scope, and scale.
The WBFN Annual Report is prepared each year by members of its Executive Committee and Coordinators of projects and Activity Groups of the WBFN. It is normally published in spring and distributed at the WBFN Annual Membership Meeting and Annual Dinner in May.
The report summarizes the activities and diversity of both the programs and the membership of WBFN. It reflects the changing needs and aspirations of the membership during each particular year. WBFN Executive Committee (EC) members and Activity Group Coordinators submit reports on the year's work together with those volunteers who helped with their respective events and activities. The reports are always available to you at the WBFN office. | | Back to top | | Recollections of 25 Years: 1972-1997 (May, 1998)

This publication tells the early history of the WBFN. The book was put together in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the World Bank Volunteer Services (WBVS), an earlier incarnation of the WBFN. A series of essays by WBVS leaders and volunteers spells out the story of its founding and early steps, the characteristics of the organization and its voice, the growing years, and its work for the Bank spouses and families. Many photos are included. This publication is a “must read” for WBFN members new and old. | | Back to top | | WBFN Yellow Pages: Directory of Members' Goods & Services
