| The Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund (MMMF) and the Book Project are 501(c)(3) charities which operate under the umbrella of the World Bank Family Network. Both focus on education. Both are run primarily by volunteers drawn from members of World Bank Group families. |
| The MMMF annually awards educational grants to women from developing countries whose studies aim to benefit women and children in the developing world. Volunteers raise funds, select grant recipients, and serve as Fund officers and on the Board of Directors. |

| Book Project volunteers solicit, organize and pack donated books and carry out administrative tasks associated with preparing for shipment of the books to needy children around the world. |
