Children of Uganda: Raising Awareness About AIDS Through Song and Dance

February 11, 2002 — Earlier this month, World Bank staff in Washington were treated to a dazzling performance of Ugandan song and dance. The performers, 18 children, come from Ugandan orphanages. Their parents died of AIDS. They are currently touring the United States to raise awareness about AIDS as well as money to support themselves and their orphanages.
