April 29, 2002 — A new World Bank report has revealed that many countries are at serious risk of not meeting the Millennium Development Goals. The World Development Indicators is a annual report published by the World Bank, which contains comprehensive data on all developing countries. In response to the findings of this year’s survey, the Bank has called for both rich countries and poor countries to recommit themselves to halving the number of people living in poverty.
