| The 3rd Water Forum to be held in Kyoto, Osaka and Shiga from March 16 to 23, 2003 is expected to play a critical role in addressing the water issues of the 21st century. Through discussions, the many participants at Forum will aim to identify concrete actions needed to solve the various water-related problems across the globe. The Forum also assumes specific importance because it will set the framework for the G8 Meeting on Water in Evian to be held in May 2003.
