India: Health Systems Improvement in Rajasthan

WASHINGTON, March 11, 2004 — The public health system in Rajasthan, India's eighth largest state, will expand access to an expected three million outpatients and another 34,000 inpatients annually with the support of a US$ 89 million credit approved by the World Bank today.
