To engage youth and celebrate World Environment Day, the World Bank Environment Department is holding an event that will highlight the role of young people in crafting the future of our environment. 

Speakers include leaders of environmental projects in Burkina Faso, Brazil, and the Himalayas who were winners of Development Marketplace, a program hosted by the World Bank that promotes innovative development ideas through early-stage seed funding.

4:15 - 5:00 Presentation of Lessons from Young Environmental Entrepreneurs  This session will provide a chance for young entrepreneurs to present projects that are being  implemented with the support of the Development Marketplace.
