Colombia: Technical Assistance Loan to Support the Second Programmatic Labor Reform and Social Structural Adjustment Project

WASHINGTON, November 4, 2004 - The following projects were approved today by the World Bank’s Board:

LOAN AMOUNT: US$2 million

TERMS: Grace period = 10.5 years; Maturity = 11.5 years

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project seeks to assist the Department of National Planning (DNP), and the Ministries of Social Protection (MSP) and Education (MEN) improve their knowledge, develop effective instruments, and strengthen their ability to carry out the reforms supported by the Programmatic Labor and Social Development Policy Loan.
