WASHINGTON, July 12, 2005- The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:
IDA CREDIT AMOUNT: $80 million
TERMS: Grace period = 10 years; Maturity = 40 years
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project will deepen and consolidate reforms that were initiated under the first PRSC approved in July 2004, in fighting corruption, improving public expenditure management and customs, and in implementing the Education for All and nutrition programs.
