Croatia: Education Sector Development Project

Washington, September 15, 2005- The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:

 

IBRD LOAN AMOUNT: US$85.0 million (EUR 67.8 million equivalent)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The Project’s main objective is to support the implementation of the priority areas in the Government’s Education Sector Development Plan 2005-2010 which was approved in June 2005. The project has four main priorities: To enrich the classroom; improve Monitoring and Evaluation; strengthen Management and Leadership; and to support Regional Development and Innovations.
