WASHINGTON, September 7, 2006- The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:
IDA GRANT: $10 million
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project will support improvements in its operations and service delivery systems, particularly in rural areas, with a focus on the use of technology as an enabler to growth and development. The project aims to modernize key internal systems of the government that are critical to its overall development strategy.
