
Description
Following the two conferences organized in June 2005 and June 2006, this event further explored the challenges and opportunities stemming from today's increasingly knowledge-based economy. It focused on how to measure intellectual capital, and how countries can benefit from their intellectual capital abroad (diasporas). Presentations at this year's conference were placed a particular focus on developing countries.
Objectives
The event was designed as a platform to exchanges views, to promote learning among key stakeholders from around the world, and to formulate an agenda for transnational and transinstutional research and action for the future.
