Bolivia: Emergency Recovery and Disaster Management Project

WASHINGTON, December 20, 2007 - The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:

IDA CREDIT: USD $12.5 million.
TERMS: Maturity= 35 years; Grace= 10 years

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project will support the Government of Bolivia in the implementation of the National Plan for Sustainable Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (PRRES), following the El Niño 2006–07 event, and will help strengthen the Government’s ability to respond to future adverse natural events.
