Journalists need valid accreditation to cover press briefings and events in the week leading up to and during the Meetings of the International Monetary and Financial Committee and the Development Committee. On-line accreditation will be available via the IMF’s website at: https://www-amsweb-ext.imf.org/press-ext The deadline for submitting a request for press credentials is Thursday, April 10, 2008. For planning purposes, journalists should be advised that the press room at IMF Headquarters will officially open on Tuesday, April 8, to accommodate coverage of various events prior to the Committee meetings.
