Cameroon: Transparency and Accountability Capacity Development Project

WASHINGTON, June 24, 2008- The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:

 

IDA Credit: US$ 15 million

TERMS: Maturity = 40 Years; Grace Period = 10  Years

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  This project aims to contribute (i) to enhance transparency and efficiency in Public Financial Management Sector (PFM), and (ii) to strengthen accountability in the use of public resource. The project will play a key role in Cameroon through the acceleration of the pace towards a more orderly and open PFM and thus more efficient service delivery.
