October 10, 2008—Grammy award winning African singer, Angelique Kidjo and other women from around the world praised the launching of a new initiative which addresses the economic needs of adolescent girls and young women in poor or post-conflict countries. And women from around the world gave emotional testimonies about what the new initiative could mean when expanded.
