1 December 2008 -  The World Bank team lead by Mr. Lawrence Bouton and Ms. Marina Bakanova, Senior Economists of Poverty Reduction and Economic Management Department of the World Bank, is starting its work in Belarus to discuss the current economic situation in Belarus and some of the sectoral aspects of the Government’s program, including macroeconomic adjustment, the budget and its composition, energy reforms, financial discipline and deregulation, private sector development and social safety net.
