Mongolia: Development Policy Credit

WASHINGTON, June 25, 2009 - The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project:

  

IDA Credit: US$40 million

Terms: Maturity = 40 years; Grace period = 10 years

Project ID: P115396

 

Project Description:  The development objective is to improve the management of mining revenues, improve capital budget planning and protect the maintenance of basic infrastructure; protect the poor during the downturn by retargeting existing social policies to the poor; strengthen confidence in the financial sector; and clarify the mining policy framework.
