WASHINGTON, August 27, 2009 - The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project: Lesotho: HIV and AIDS Technical Assistance IDA Grant: US$5 million equivalent Project ID: P107375 Project Description: The HIV and AIDS Technical Assistance project in Lesotho aims to build the capacity of government agencies and civil society organizations at both the national and local levels to address the identified gaps in implementing the National HIV and AIDS Strategic Plan. This will be done in an effort to contain and reverse the epidemic.
