WASHINGTON, December 8, 2009 - The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project: IBRD Loan: US$50 million equivalent Terms: Maturity = 20 years; Grace Period = 17 years Project ID: P116152 Project Description: The Second Programmatic Environmental Development Policy Loan Program aims to support the government's efforts to strengthen environmental governance and institutions in Peru, and mainstream environmental sustainability in the development agendas of key sectors (mining, fisheries, and urban transport and energy).
