Washington DC, February 26th, 2010—Colombia has plenty of clean natural gas.
But even so, many people cook with firewood, which is both dirty and bad for their health.
A new pilot project is cleaning up the cooking fires and getting people hooked into a safer, cleaner, cheaper alternative.
Colombia gas giant Promigas and a World Bank-administered program, the Global Partnership on Output-Based Aid, joined forces to set up the project.
