Paris - Procurement Policy Review Consultation at MEDEF in France

Some 20 participants, mostly companies and business organizations, gathered at MEDEF in Paris, on July 2nd to dialogue with Bernard Becq, World Bank Chief Procurement Policy officer, on the World Bank review of its operational procurement policy and procedures within the framework of a two-year consultation process from March 2014 through early 2014. The goal of this consultation, chaired by Alain Bentejac, President of Syntec Ingenierie with presentations from Bernard Becq, Michel Demarre from Colas on the Well Prepared Project (WPP), Patrice Fonlladosa from Veolia Environment on Sustainable Procurement and Marc Frilet from Frilet & Associés on PPP, is to ensure that the Bank's procurement policy and its procedures remain relevant to today's world and they continue to support developement results.
