Certification Requirement

To participate in our Supplier Diversity program, your company must be a certified MBE, WBE or DBE. The World Bank Group will require Certification documentation to attest to the vendor's status. In the United States, certification can be obtained from government agencies or organizations such as the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), Small Business Administration (SBA), Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), or the Association for Service for Disabled Veterans (ASDV).

The following are definitions that the World Bank Group subscribes to:

Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
