World Bank Group Changes Policy & Location of Delivery of Goods & Packages

Off-Site Warehouse

1. The World Bank Group (“WBG”), including IBRD, MIGA, IFC, IDA, and ISCID, has instituted a new MANDATORY policy regarding the delivery of goods and packages. Effective August 9, 2004, all deliveries that were formerly delivered to the World Bank Group loading docks (1818 H Street N.W, 1809 G Street N.W. and 2121 K Street N.W.) must now be delivered to an off-site warehouse at the following address:

Advance Reservations Are Required for Deliveries

2. Effective immediately, the World Bank Group has implemented a MANDATORY scheduled delivery policy at the above-mentioned off-site warehouse location. Deliveries that have not been scheduled with a specific appointment time will be rejected. To schedule a delivery appointment please call 703-996-8258.

• Delivery hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (excluding WBG holidays);
• Appointments will be given a ½ hour grace period to allow for traffic;
• You will also be asked to describe the Purchase Order number, as well as the nature and size of the delivery to assist the WBG to better plan the length of time your vehicle will be required in the loading dock.

1. Take I-66 West toward Front Royal
2. From I-66 West take Rt. 28 North
3. From Rt. 28 North take Rt. 50 West
4. From Rt. 50 West turn Right onto Rt. 606 North
5. From Rt. 606 North turn Left onto Pebble Run Drive
6. From Pebble Run Drive turn right into the second driveway and proceed to the second building on your right
