The Development Marketplace team has now selected 186 finalists for the next 2003 Global Competion. We would like to thank everyone who submitted a proposal to this year's Marketplace. Selecting the finalists was a highly competitive process in which each proposal was reviewed by 6-9 assessors. A list of finalists who will move onto the final competition scheduled for December 3-4, 2003, is provided below. The links on this page will provide you with an overview of our ongoing DM2003 competition, the list of finalists, as well as, instructions and resources for finalists. The following information is provided for applicants who receive a finalist notification directly from the DM inviting them to participate in the Global Marketplace in Washington, D.C. on December 3-4, 2003.
Important Dates to Remember : July 24th – DM announces finalists for DM2003 Global Competition
July 30th – Deadline for finalists to:
1) Confirm they will move onto Round 3
2) Express interest in attending a web/audio information session
3) Choose a specific date for a web/audio information session
4) Express interest in having their Full Proposal reviewed by outside business plan advisors. August 15th – Deadline to submit completed draft Full Proposals for outside business plan reviewers to comment.
September 12th – Deadline to submit Full Proposal with detailed budget
December 3-4 – DM2003 Global Competition held in Washington, DC
