PEFA courses providers

The PEFA Secretariat delivers a limited number of PEFA training sessions per year – often as a facilitator – and upon request from organizations. The PEFA training material, however, is made available and free, to be used by any PEFA consultant, trainer, organizations or private companies.  We encourage PEFA assessors to use or refer to it at country level, during the workshops covering the PEFA methodology when launching the PEFA assessment process.

The best way to find about how and where to be trained in PEFA is to consult Train4Dev a platform sponsored by various development organizations, providing expertise related to development issues, including Public Finance Management (PFM).

Workshops and seminars on Public Financial Management are also offered by (CEF) Center of Excellence in Finance Slovenia.

Other PEFA courses are delivered (usually fee-based) by companies such as:

  • IDILMAT (Ghana)
  • CIPFA    Chartered Institute in Public Finance and Accountancy (UK)

Note: the PEFA Secretariat is pleased to promote other PEFA courses providers, but we do not recommend any course in particular. As there is no PEFA training certification by the PEFA Secretariat and program, PEFA training can be proposed by any PFM specialist
